TerraVie's goals are:

• acquire, hold and manage lands preserving them from speculations

• preserve, protect and restore the environment, natural resources and threatened species

• elaborate and offer programs in favour of protecting and preserving the environment notably by the implantationof viable collectivities and ecological and lasting growth

• promote education for all, healthy life style and research in order to preserve nature and use natural, human, environmental and physical resources properly

• spread environmental information for all and other groups concerned by conservation

• study the environment and durable growth including the viable collectivities and ecological dwellings and publish the results of the research

• offer and manage lands in a non-profit manner for people, eldery citizens or handicapped persons, especially those earning a low income

Terravie favours the getting together of individuals and community organizations willing to join their efforts in order to attain these goals.

• Legal and organizational guide enumerating legal aspects between Terravie and viable collectivities co-operatives

• Creation of the Web site ,communication tool for the organism

• Creation of the charter and legal outline of a community land trust in Quebec

Projects

• Project to acquire lands in the Laurentians area and to establish a model of ecovillage in partenership with cooperatives (housing and working coop).

• Creation of a new type of zone in Quebec, the indigo zone, suitable for an ecovillage's activities: lodging, agriculture, preservation and regeneration of the environment.
