Mission
TerraVie took the engagement to acquire, preserve and manage these estates. The lands will be put at the disposal of viable, ecological communities( ecovillage). They will support a sharing of ecological experiences with the population.
TerraVie will ensure this ecological and social vocation in perpetuity..
The lands administrated in that manner will avoid estate speculations.
Statuts
TerraVie is legally constituted since may 2003 and is characterized by its specifics status:
- Non- profit corporation
- Charitable organism, NE: 890584303 RT0001
- Recognized organism by Canada Environment
- Community Land Trust
Members
TerraVie is managed by a board of directors composed of nine elected members at the annual general meeting in which we find 5 active members representing the ecovillage, 2 active members representing environnemental interest organisms and/or social interests and 2 active members representing nearby community.
This board of directors has established working relations with different consultants and partners in order to reach his goals in the best way possible.
You can consult the list of the team members in place presenting their diversities and also the different collaborators.
Fondamental principles
In order to assure for acquired lands social and natural environnement respect, the viables collectivities will have to respect all the principles established by the founders which are integrated to the Terravie Óchart and general rulesÓ.
